Bu işe alım süreci Türkiye'de yeni gerçekleşmiş olan depreme yönelik acil müdahale projemiz kapsamında oluşan insan kaynakları açığını doldurmak için yürütülmektedir. İstihdam ilgili projenin fonlanmasına bağlı olarak gerçekleşecektir. Konaklama DDD tarafından konteynırlarda sağlanacaktır.
Durumun aciliyetinden dolayı sahada gönüllü çalışmaya istekli kişilerin başvurusu özellikle teşvik edilmektedir.

Cinsel ve Üreme Sağlığı Danışmanı (SRH Counsellor)Saha yöneticisine veya doktora bağlı olarak Hatay’da çalışır.

Temel Sorumluluklar
Doğum öncesi ve doğum sonrası bakımı (ANC-PNC) sağlamak
Sağlık Danışmanının denetimi altında aile planlama konsültasyonunu sağlamak
Sağlık Danışmanına yardımcı olmak ve desteklemek
Yöneticiler tarafından verilen diğer görevleri yetine getirmek

Görev Tanımı

• Doğum öncesi ve doğum sonrası bakımı (ANC&PNC) sağlamak.
• İlgili tarama, beslenme, aşılama ve eğitim konusunda DSÖ/Sağlık Bakanlığının ANC/PNC kılavuzlarını izler
• Gebe kadınları muayene etme ve takibi,
• Bakım gerekliliklerini değerlendirme ve bakım planlarını kaydetme
• Hasta numunelerini, nabız, ateş ve kan basınçlarını alma,
• ANC/PNC hasta dosyasına ziyaret bilgilerini kaydetme,
• Her faydalanıcının uygun takibini sağlama,
• Yüksek riskli vakaları Sağlık Danışmanına sevk etme,
• Tarama testlerini yapma,
• Gebe kadınlara ve ailelerine bilgi, duygusal destek ve güvence sağlama
• Yenidoğan bebeklerin günlük bakımında ailelere bilgi ve destek verme
• Düşük yapma, gebeliği sonlandırma, ölü doğum ve yenidoğan ölümüyle baş etmelerinde ailelere yardımcı olma.

Birim doktorunun denetimi altında aile planlama konsültasyonunu sağlamak

• İlk konsültasyon için vakayı birim doktoruna sevk eder,
• Kullanılan yöntemi takip eder ve olası yan etkileri saptar,
• Gerekirse gebelik testi yapar.

Sağlık Danışmanına yardımcı olma ve destekleme

• Talep edilirse, konsültasyonlarında Sağlık Danışmanına yardımcı olur ve destekler
• Konsültasyonlar sırasında kullanılan tüm Sağlık Danışmanı materyallerinden sorumludur,
• Jinekoloji aletlerinin temizlik, ambalaj ve sterilizasyonundan sorumludur,
• Gün sonunda tüm atıkları toplama ve uygun şekilde yok etme dahil olmak üzere tıbbi atığın yönetiminden sorumludur
• Bakım kalitesini sağlamak için Sağlık Danışmanıyla yakın çalışır,
• Vakaları tartışmak için Sağlık Danışmanıyla haftalık toplantı,
• Cinsel Üreme Sağlığı konularında faydalanıcı üyelerle irtibat kurar
• Sağlık Danışmanı tarafından talep edildiği şekilde, görevin gereksinimlerine göre veri, gösterge, araştırma ve değerlendirmeleri toplar ve analiz için girdi sağlar.
• İhtiyaçları ve gereklilikleri ve DDD’nin gerekirse bunlara en iyi nasıl destek sağlayacağını ölçmek ve değerlendirmek için yardım ve destek sağlar,
• DDD'yi temsilen cinsel üreme sağlığı toplantılarına katılır ve uygun geri bildirim sağlar,
• DDD tarafından istendiğinde uzmanlık müdahalelerine katılır.

Raporlama

• Veri toplama ve raporlama sistemi aracılığıyla ilgili faaliyetleri raporlar,
• Aylık ve yıllık faaliyet raporlarını hazırlar,
• İhtiyaç olduğunda durum raporlarına katkıda bulunur,
• Sözleşmenin sonunda bir misyon raporunu ve/veya devir teslim belgesini sağlar.

Diğer

• Kurum içi çalışma toplantılarına katılır ve DDD ekibini ilgili konularda bilgilendirir,
• Güvenlikle ilgili sorunları bölüm müdürüne bildirir,
• Hastaların mahremiyetine ve gizliliğe saygı gösterir,
• Talep edilmesi halindeyöneticisine faaliyetler konusunda düzenli raporlar sağlar,
• Yönetici tarafından talep edilen diğer ilgili görevleri yerine getrimek,

Aranan Özellikler
Eğitim
Ebelik, hemşirelik veya ilgili alan diploması gereklidir.

Mesleki Deneyim
(mezuniyet öncesi veya sonrası) klinik ortamda 1-2 yıllık deneyim

Mission
Since 2015, DDD implements programs in both Turkey and Syria providing refugee and IDP communities with free access to healthcare services. DDD works with a range of humanitarian professionals and technical experts to provide Primary Healthcare (PHC), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)services as well as sexual and reproductive health (SRH).

Since the beginning of the Syria and Iraqi crises, Turkey has become host to over 3 million refugees, migrants and asylum seekers which led to an increasing demand for health services. In this context, DDD’s intervention aims to assist local public health systems in providing and improving access to health and health related services to vulnerable populations among refugees and migrants in Turkey, specifically in Hatay, Izmir and Istanbul. In Syria, DDD runs health facilities in Idlib and Afrin provinces to deliver health-related services to IDPs.

Hierarchical & Functional links
The purpose of this emergency recruitment is to fill human resources gap for our emergency response for recent earthquake disaster in Türkiye. Employment will be depend on donor approval. This will be a short term position, the accommodation will be provided by DDD as container

Due to emergency of the current situation, the candidates who are volunteer to work in the emergency field are highly encouraged.

Based in Hatay, the Project SRH Counsellor is under the line management of Field Coordinator & Doctor.

Status: Fixed-Term Contract
Expected Starting date: ASAP

Main Responsibilities
Providing ante-natal care and post-natal care (ANC&PNC).
Providing family planning consultation, under supervision of the Health Counsellor.
Assisting and Supporting the Health Counsellor.
Other duties assigned by supervisors.

Function Details

• Providing ante-natal care and post-natal care (ANC&PNC).
• Follow WHO/ MoH guidelines of ANC/PNC on screening, nutrition, immunization and education;
• Examining and monitoring pregnant women;
• Assessing care requirements and writing care plans;
• Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures;
• Recording the visit’s detail in the ANC/PNC patient file;
• Ensuring a proper follow-up of each beneficiary;
• Referring a high-risk case to the Health Counsellor;
• Carrying out screening tests;
• Providing information, emotional support and reassurance to pregnant ladies and their families;
• Advising about and supporting parents in the daily care of their newborn babies;
• Helping parents to cope with miscarriage, termination, stillbirth and neonatal death.

Providing family planning consultation ,under supervision of the unit’s doctor

• Refer the case to the unit’s doctor for the first consultation;
• Follow up the used method and discovering any possible side effects;
• Preforms pregnancy test if required.

Assisting and supporting Health Counsellor

• Assists and helps Health Counsellor in his/her consultations if requested;
• Responsible of all Health Counsellor material used during consultations;
• Responsible of cleaning, packaging, and sterilization of GYN instruments;
• Responsible of medical waste management including to collect all wastes at the end of day and eliminate in proper way;
• Work closely with Health Counsellor to ensure quality of care;
• Weekly meeting with Health Counsellor to discuss cases;
• Liaise with community members on Sexual Reproductive Health issues;
• Collect data, indicators, surveys and assessments according to the mission’s needs, as requested by the Health Counsellor, and provide input on analysis;
• To help and support the Health Counsellor to assess and evaluate the needs and requests, and how DDD can best support them if needed;
• Attend meetings related to sexual reproductive health, representing DDD, and provide appropriate feed-back;
• Participate in any specialized responses as requested by DDD.

Reporting

• Report relevant activities through data collection and reporting system;
• Draft monthly and annual activity reports;
• Contribute to the situation reports when needed;
• Provide a mission report and/or handover document at the end of contract.

Other

• Participate in internal work meetings and inform DDD team on relevant issues;
• Report any security related issues to the line manager;
• Respect the privacy of the patients and the confidentiality;
• Provide regular reporting on her/his activities to the line manager upon solicitation;
• Any other relevant duties requested by the line manager.
• Any other related DDD tasks as assigned by supervisor/line manager.

NB: considering the purpose and values of the organisation, DDD requests to its employee complete flexibility in term of duties and commitment, as their job description and job title can be adjusted throughout the year according to needs and priorities.

Expected profile
Education & Qualification
A degree in midwifery nursing or related field is required

Professional experience
1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting. (either per or post-graduation)
