Bu işe alım süreci Türkiye'de yeni gerçekleşmiş olan depreme yönelik acil müdahale projemiz kapsamında oluşan insan kaynakları açığını doldurmak için yürütülmektedir. İstihdam ilgili projenin fonlanmasına bağlı olarak gerçekleşecektir. Konaklama DDD tarafından konteynırlarda sağlanacaktır.
Durumun aciliyetinden dolayı sahada gönüllü çalışmaya istekli kişilerin başvurusu özellikle teşvik edilmektedir.

Saha alanlarına sık seyahat eden Sosyal Çalışma Görevlisi (Case Worker) Hatay'da Saha Yöneticisi(Field Coordinator) ve Koruma Görevlisi(Protection Officer)'ne bağlı olarak çalışır.

Görevler ve Sorumluluklar
Programlama
Koruma vakalarını tespit etmek için saha değerlendirmesini yürütür ve özel tıbbi ihtiyaçları olan aşırı hassas bireyler veya haneleri takip eder,
Zamanında yanıt sağlamak için vaka yönetim döngüsü sırasında doğrudan faydalanıcılarla iletişim kurar,
Yardım sağlanan vakaları izler, inceler ve takip eder.

Koordinasyon ve Temsil
Bir Koruma Görevlisi tarafından harici servis sağlayıcılara sevk edilen vakaları izler,
Birey ve toplum ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için proje ekibinin diğer üyeleriyle işbirliği yapar,
Haftalık vaka yönetim komitesini planlar ve tüm ilgili belge ve dosyaları hazırlar,

Raporlama
Proje göstergelerine göre Koruma Görevlisine uygulanan tüm faaliyetlere dair aylık raporları sağlar,
Faaliyetlerin devamlı izlenmesine dayalı olarak, projelerden öğrenilen derslerin ve başarı hikayelerinin ilgili yöneticilere belgelenmesini ve raporlanmasını sağlar,
Her bir faaliyetin belgelenmesinin bağışçı gerekliliklerine uyumlu olmasını sağlar.

Risk Faktörlerinin Analizi, Tespiti ve Azaltılması
PSS (Psiko-Sosyal Destek) Görevlisi, Sağlık ve SRH Danışmanları ve Koruma Görevlisi ile işbirliği içinde, hedef faydalanıcıların sağlık ve koruma statüsünü etkileyen olası risk faktörlerini araştırır ve tespit eder.
Gerektiğinde, olası risk faktörlerini azaltmak ve/veya yok etmek için diğer paydaşlarla işbirliği yapar.

Önleyici Tedbirleri Geliştirme ve Uygulama
Sağlık ve SRH Danışmanları, PSS (Psiko-Sosyal destek görevlisi) ve Koruma Görevlisi ile işbirliği içinde, topluluk içinde yapılacak yenilikçi koruyucu sağlık ve korumayla ilgili müdahaleler ve faaliyetleri geliştirir ve uygular.

Diğer görevler
Kurum içi çalışma toplantılarına katılır,
Güvenlikle ilgili sorunları yöneticisine rapor eder,
Saha gezileri ve DDD faaliyetlerinin operasyonel organizasyonuna destek olur
Yöneticisi tarafından talep edilen diğer ilgili görevlerin yerine getirilmesi.

Medecins du Monde Turkey (MDM-T) / Dünya Doktorları Dernegi (DDD) is a Turkish based humanitarian non-governmental organisation that facilitates access to healthcare for populations affected by armed conflict, violence, natural disasters, disease, famine, poverty and exclusion.

Mission

Since 2015, DDD implements programs in both Turkey and Syria providing refugee and IDP communities with free access to healthcare services. DDD works with a range of humanitarian professionals and technical experts to provide Primary Healthcare (PHC), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)services as well as sexual and reproductive health (SRH).

Since the beginning of the Syrian and Iraqi crises, Turkey has become a host to over 3 million refugees, migrants and asylum seekers which led to an increasing demand for health services. In this context, DDD’s interventions aim to assist local public health systems in providing and improving access to health and health related services to vulnerable populations among refugees and migrants in Turkey, specifically in Hatay, Izmir and Istanbul. In Syria, DDD runs health facilities in Idlib and Afrin provinces to deliver health-related services to IDPs.

Hierarchical & Functional links
The purpose of this emergency recruitment is to fill human resources gap for our emergency response for recent earthquake disaster in Türkiye. Employment will be depend on donor approval. This will be a short term position, the accommodation will be provided by DDD as container
Due to emergency of the current situation, the candidates who are volunteer to work in the emergency field are highly encouraged.

Based in Hatay, with frequent travels to the field areas, Case Worker works under the line management of the Field Coordinator and Protection Officer.

Status: Fixed-term contract
Expected Starting Date: ASAP

Duties and Responsibilities
Programming
Conduct field assessment to identify protection casesand follow up on extremely vulnerable individuals or households with medical special needs;
Communicate with the beneficiaries directly during the case management cycle to provide timely response;
Monitor, review and follow up the cases which have been provided assistance;

Coordination and Representation
Follow up on cases, that are referred by a Protection Officer to external service providers;
Collaborate with other members of the project team to meet the needs of the individual and the population;
Plan for the weekly case management committee and prepare all the related documents and files;

Reporting
Provide monthly reports on all the activities implemented to the Protection Officer according to the project indicators;
Based on the on-going monitoring of the activities, ensure that lessons learnt and success stories from the project are documented and reported to the line manager;
Ensure the documentation of each activity is in line with donor requirements;

Analysis, Detection and Reduction of Risk Factors
In collaboration with the PSS Officer, Health and SRH Counsellors and Protection Officer, explore and detect potential risk factors influencing health and protection status of the target population;
When required, coordinate with other stakeholders to reduce and/or eliminate potential risk factors.

Develop and Perform Preventive Measures
In collaboration with the Health and SRH Counsellors, PSS and Protection Officer develop and implement innovative preventive health and protection related interventions and activities to be undertaken within the community.

Other Duties
Participate in internal work meetings;
Report any security related issues to the line manager;
Support operational organization of field trips and DDD programs;
Any other relevant duties requested by the line manager;

Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout Dünya Doktorları Derneği. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of Dünya Doktorları Derneği and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards. Conducts work with the highest level of integrity. Communicates these values to staff and to partners and requires them to adhere to these values.
Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within Dünya Doktorları Derneği and amongst beneficiaries served by Dünya Doktorları Derneği.

NB: considering the purpose and values of the organisation, DDD requests to its employee complete flexibility in term of duties and commitment, as their job description and job title can be adjusted throughout the year according to needs and priorities.

Expected profile
Knowledge & Qualification
University degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or Sociology

Experience
1-2 years of experience in a similar position

Languages
Required: Arabic, Turkish
Preferred: English
