About SENED

SENED is an independent non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 2013 and registered in Turkey with the number 27-15-175. SENED was established by a group of humanitarian and social activists in responding to the Syrians suffer since 2011. SENED has become specialized in working with and supporting people with special needs since 2015 due to the realization of the tremendous tragedy that people with special needs live in Syria through periodic visits to their places.

Job Responsibilities

Based in Adana, the “Case Management Officer” is under the line management Project Manager. He/She will be responsible to:

  • Supervise and implement case management interventions for the cases of project beneficiaries, supervise updating service mapping and make referrals.

 

Key Activities/Tasks/Duties

  • Plan and implement case management activities through assessment, case planning, case implementation, follow up and case closure through regular case committee meetings
  • Supervise case workers to organize, identify and register individual cases requiring protection and health intervention in the field and/or through community center visit,
  • Undertaking rapid and detailed assessments of beneficiaries,
  • Implement CM intervention plans according to SOP,
  • Work with logistic department for procurement of needed goods/services according to CM interventions
  • Identify protection/health cases and case follow up until case closure.
  • Accompanying beneficiaries for internal and external referrals
  • Supporting the service mapping and keeping service map updated
  • Reporting and assisting Project Manager to write project reports.
  • Support to record registered cases in the database in a timely manner and update information as necessary and ensure that progress is updated in the database,
  • Ensuring accurate, timely and secure data entry of all the cases.
  • Planning and implementation of outreach for information dissemination regular and innovative ways
  • Maintain highly organized CM hard copy files and update the database on a regular basis,
  • Contribute to project strategies and to program development in protection sector

 

Required Qualifications (Education/Languages/Work Experience):

Essential

  • Bachelor Degree in Education, Psychology, or any other relevant field.
  • Advanced skills in the English language.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven teaching experience in a similar position

Desirable

  • Intermediate skills in the Arabic language.
  • Intermediate skills in the Turkish language.
  • Verified experience in humanitarian work and principles
