Job Summary
The Client Relations Officer will answer phone calls from SME clients, direct and inform businesses regarding BM Project services, sessions and events for research, business development and training activities. They will also be expected to direct inquiries and complaints by phone as well as schedule appointments with businesses for Verification Officers (VOs).
Responsibilities and Duties
The Client Relations Officer will be responsible for:

Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls and other forms of communication

Scheduling appointments with businesses for VOs to conduct surveys

Inviting Syrian and Turkish businesses to business development and training events

Informing Syrian and Turkish businesses about BM’s services
-
Handling & resolving customers complaints received via phone and email
-
Accurately reporting and documenting all complaints according to internal policies and procedures

Preparing clear, informed responses to customers via email
-
Informing the Research Manager and M&E Coordinator of any complaint
-
Contributing to a positive work environment by showing respectful conduct towards the Building Markets team, partners, and clients
Qualifications
The ideal Client Relations Officer will have:
-
An excellent telephone manner and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
-
Completed or currently be pursuing a university degree in a relevant field and /or secondary school certificate and relevant professional experience (e.g. 2-3 years conducting field surveys and/or interviews)

Turkish citizenship
-
Knowledge or interest in the Syrian (and/or other refugee populations) business community and industries in Turkey
-
Fluency in Arabic and English or Turkish
-
Confidence and interpersonal skills
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-
The ability to represent Building Markets accurately and professionally

Strong motivation to promote private sector development in Turkey

Entrepreneurial and resourceful attitude

Basic understanding of surveys, enumeration, and data entry

Good communication skills and experience with cross-cultural communication

Creativity and ability to work productively in an environment with limited resources
