CLINICAL DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

  • This position will be directly reporting to General Director. 

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

1-         Program Management and Leadership:

  • Carry out programmatic, technical and administrative management of different MHPSS projects through quality assurance, monitoring and documentation of results.
  • Taking a active role in maintaining and managing the clinical coordination tasks, conducting regular checks, producing reports and acting as a focal point for clinical coordination follow-up
  • Proactively engage with MHPSS teams to compile up to date information on their activities as well as following current clinical needs related to program activities
  • Supporting the revision of clinical content used by program teams to assess the impact of activities and providing up-to-date reports on goals and achievements.
  • Ensuring disaggregated and cumulative tracking of clinical teams and documentation of all activities and outcomes
  • Suggesting innovative preventive mental health interventions and activities for the implementation of program in collaboration with MHPSS team
  • Maintaining and monitoring weekly/monthly MHPSS plans, project schedules
  • Taking a supporting role in clinical guideline preparation & content development processes
  • Working in collaboration with the clinical teams on innovative preventive mental health interventions and activities to implement programs.
  • Oversee program planning and implementation to ensure program goals, objectives and targets are met and best practice is ensured in all MHPSS services.
  • Support clinical team members by helping develop work plans, overseeing implementation and tracking progress.
  • Ensure that all reporting requirements are met on time, and that reports are of a high quality.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the General Director and ensure timely and accurate delivery of all MHPSS program updates.

2-         Organizational Development and Representation:

  • Represent the Maya Vakfı in communication with program partners and other key stakeholders including donors, government actors, UN agencies, international and local NGOs, and other relevant actors.
  • Represent Maya Vakfı and ensure good relations with all stakeholders
  • Participate in identifying mental health and psychosocial support needs and contribute to new programs.
  • Participate in the strategy development of the project and of Maya Vakfı.
  • Develop and contribute to MHPSS related guidance documents and Standard Operation Procedures

3-         Training and Technical Supervision:

  • Provide technical leadership to the MHPSS field teams and be the technical referent for MHPSS supervisions.
  • Create and update job profiles of MHPSS staff and participate actively in recruitment & performance assessment processes.
  • Ensure that training, supervision, and staff care is adjusted to the needs of field staff and programs.
  • Ensure good communication among clinical team is in place, and internal referral paths are established, in order to provide beneficiary-centered care.

4-  Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)

  • Ensure that M&E systems provide adequate feedback to inform program development and course correction as necessary.
  • Supporting the M&E Department in developing and/or revising the monitoring and evaluation tools in accordance with contents and implementation of the programs.

Programlarının odağına öncelikle imkânı kısıtlı ve travmaya maruz kalan çocukları yerleştiren Maya Vakfı, bütüncül bir yaklaşımla çocukların hayatına etki eden kişi ve kurumların da özellikle psikolojik travma konusundaki duyarlılığını artırmak ve kapasitelerini geliştirmek üzere çalışmaktadır.
