Doctors Worldwide Turkey (DWWT) is looking for Community Center Manager in Partnership with GIZ for a Project entitled "Community Centers for refugees and vulnerable host communities providing comprehensive MHPSS and Protection services".

DWWT is an international humanitarian aid organization who serves medical relief to communities in need through the provision of sustainable medical relief and health-based development programs over 40 countries worldwide.

 

Community Center Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of activities at the Community Centers in Istanbul and Kilis.

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for day-to-day project correspondence, information sharing, appropriate follow-up, and assist in preparing evaluation reports.
  • Supervising the field team and ensure close collaboration with the administrative team.
  • Assist in overseeing the financial and procurement part of the project and gives authorization to go ahead with procurement and payments.
  • Assist in coordinating the overall staff of the project and ensures good individual and group performance.
  • Assist in coordinating the report and communication with partners and donors.
  • Perform any other duties and tasks assigned by Project Management.
  • Prepares and oversees the annual budget for the Center; prepares revenue and expense reports for all programs; purchases all supplies needed to fulfil Center operations.
  • Provide high-level of coordination, organization and support between the community centres and administrative office.
  • Oversees maintenance of the building and equipment.
  • Promotes public relations through community and private sector contacts, marketing efforts, and personal contact with Center users in order to determine the needs of the community.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-4 years of experience.
  • Team leading experience,
  • University degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Programs.
  • Fluency in Turkish and English language is required.
  • Experience of approach to managing, prioritizing high workload and multiple tasks.
