Association for Aid and Relief, Japan (AAR Japan) is an international humanitarian organization that helps people in need in over 15 countries. We began our emergency relief operation in response to the Syrian crisis in October 2012. AAR Japan is looking for an Outreach Officer who will be positioned in Istanbul, Turkey.

LOCATION: Sanliurfa

Reports to:CC/CFS Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct and support activities in community centre (courses and events);
  • Liaison with stakeholders including host community and partners;
  • Monitor and evaluate community centre activities on daily basis;
  • Train and instruct project assistants as necessary;
  • Draft and submit weekly and monthly progress reports;
  • Create and maintain constructive coordination, including referral pathways, with internal project departments and with stakeholders and service providers;
  • Take care of visitors including preparing materials of explaining about CFS
  • Translate among English, Arabic, Kurdish in terms of documents and conversation
  • Manage their subordinate including daily supervision
  • Coordinate PR activity by the request of Tokyo H.Q. in case necessary
  • Conduct the works assigned by the Employer.

Required Qualification and Experiences

Essential:

  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant educational field.
  • 2 Years experience of relevant profession, preferably in conducting activit in center based venue of NGOs
  • Female candidate
  • Turkish citizinship
  • Arabic and English language are a must, Turkish / Kurdish are preferable
  • Team Management Experience with good communication skills.
