Hand in Hand for Aid and Development (HiHFAD) is a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental, Charitable Incorporated Organization registered in the United Kingdom and in Türkiye (TR: İyilik İçin El Ele Derneği) that provides high standards in humanitarian and relief services to the most vulnerable wherever needed through local engagement and global support.

Established in 2011 by a group of British-Syrian diaspora, HiHFAD was born out of a desire to extend a helping hand to vulnerable groups and displaced families in Syria and beyond. Since then, HiHFAD remained at the forefront of humanitarian agencies, providing life-saving aid to Syrians in hard-to-reach areas. Our extensive Healthcare Program has enabled us to expand and reach even more communities and internally displaced people; providing a comprehensive, integrated multi-sectoral intervention in Health, Nutrition, WaSH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), Protection, Shelter, Non-Food Assistance, Food Security, Livelihoods, and Education.

HiHFAD mandate is to alleviate the suffering of those in need without any type of discrimination, protect the most vulnerable, promoting social justice and welfare, and fostering durable solutions through delivering community-based humanitarian and development interventions.

Job overview

Responsible for Archiving, and supporting Finance team on the financial tasks

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

1.           ‎To oversee the archiving system for all financial documents and bonds according to the adopted finance ‎policy, the requirements of the team work and the financial auditing (scanning all documents, uploading and ‎sharing the files with the finance team, amending, correcting and updating the documents and archive ‎continuously. ‎‏ ‏

2.           ‎Conducting the periodical and proper entry of all financial data entry in the adopted financial programs and ‎software in cooperation with finance team according to the direct manager instructions.  ‎

3.           ‎Submitting the weekly and monthly financial reports of the financial registration and archiving processes ‎assigned to him to the finance other team members according to the work needs and the direct manager ‎instructions.‎

4.           ‎‎Providing assistance in financial auditing processes and ensuring completion of providing all the required ‎financial documents such as bills, contracts, logistic procurement documents and others.‎

5.           ‎‎Coordinating with the logistic and procurement department to provide all the required financial ‎‎documents ‎for carry on the payment process in accordance with the adopted finance policy and ‎‎according to the direct ‎manager instructions. ‎

6.           ‏6‏Coordinating with other departments to complete any required signatures of financial vouchers and ‎‎documents related to projects.‎

7.           ‎Following up the required schedule for receiving and submitting all the original documents process to the ‎finance office in Turkey in cooperation with finance team in Syria and working to find solutions for any issues ‎that may delay this process.‎

8.           ‎Providing full support required for the finance team in Syria and Turkey regarding the requirements and ‎needs of work in finance department according to the direct manager instructions.‎

Background Knowledge & Experience

Education Level: University degree in Economic or Related field

Work Experience: minimum 1 year in Finance

Trainings: Training on Financial tasks

Languages: English: Fluent Arabic: Fluent Turkish: Preferable
