Ad Description

Purpose of the Position

The Project Officer will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of cash assistance programs in Adiyaman. This role requires a dynamic individual with experience in cash assistance and community-based programming, ensuring effective delivery of services to beneficiaries while adhering to organizational standards and donor requirements.

Project Implementation:

  •    - Oversee the day-to-day implementation of cash assistance activities in Adiyaman, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  •    - Coordinate with stakeholders, including local authorities, community leaders, and partners, to ensure smooth project operations.

Beneficiary Selection and Management:

  •    - Support the design and execution of beneficiary targeting and registration processes, ensuring inclusivity and fairness.
  •    - Maintain accurate records of beneficiary data, adhering to data protection policies.

Monitoring and Reporting:

 

  •    - Conduct regular field visits to monitor the progress of cash assistance activities and ensure quality delivery.
  •    - Prepare and submit timely reports, including progress updates, challenges, and success stories.

Capacity Building:

  •    - Train and support field staff and community volunteers on cash assistance methodologies and tools.
  •    - Ensure adherence to organizational guidelines, safeguarding, and protection principles.

Coordination and Representation:

  •    - Represent the organization in coordination meetings and workshops related to cash assistance.
  •    - Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to program delivery.

Compliance and Accountability:

  •    - Ensure activities comply with donor requirements and organizational policies.
  •    - Promote accountability and feedback mechanisms to address beneficiary concerns and improve program quality.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, international development, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset).

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing cash assistance programs, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.

- Demonstrated understanding of cash-based programming, including targeting, delivery mechanisms, and monitoring.

- Strong knowledge of the local context in Adiyaman, including cultural, social, and political dynamics.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Microsoft Office and data collection platforms.

- Fluency in Turkish and English. Kurdish is an asset.
