Location: Gaziantep, Kilis, Reyhanli, Ankara, Izmir and Istanbul -Turkey

Background on RI:
Relief International (RI) is committed to transforming adversity into renewal for the world’s most vulnerable populations. By partnering with beneficiaries and communities on the front-lines, RI innovatively bridges the gap between immediate relief and long-term community development.
Launched in 2015, RI’s program in Turkey is now implemented in 8 provinces across Turkey with 7 implementing partners. The program entails the following:
- Contribute to improving access to specialized health service delivery for refugees, focusing on mental health and psychosocial support services (MHPSS), physiotherapy, prosthesis & orthotics, Community health and livelihood;
- Work with local partners to build their capacity (organizational and project management) in order to ensure long term sustainability;
- Replicate the existing successful models in other geographic areas with high numbers of refugees;
- Contribute to scientific studies by engaging in technical and needs assessments to fill the evidence gap on disability and MHPSS for refugees in Turkey.
Purpose and Scope:
RI is going to conduct Final Evaluation for a sample of RI beneficiaries who received services during SASH III period to assure the quality of provided services and listen to beneficiary feedback on the received services.
Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer, the enumerators will be responsible for data collection in RI partner centers serving Syrian refugees.
Enumerators will be trained on using the mobile data collection platform KOBO Collect, and on the questionnaire beforehand. They are expected to conduct face to face interviews or through phone calls with specific beneficiaries who were identified in the sample size that RI prepared prior to the evaluation. Enumerators will be conducting the surveys in teams and they will partner with RI staff and accompanied to the centers of interest.
Duties:
- Interview refugees through the Final evaluation survey developed by RI.
- Conduct face to face interviews or through phone calls.
- Record and submit the data on the KOBO platform on a daily basis
- Conduct Focus group discussions (FGD) if needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma in a social science or related field preferred;
- Fluency in Arabic is required; fluency Turkish is highly preferred;
- Experience with surveys, customer service, and mobile data collection are an asset;
- Excellent communication skills and high level professionalism and courtesy;
- Good contextual knowledge of local issues, community priorities, social and cultural constraints and realities;
- Ability to move around easily and familiarity with the mentioned districts in the mentioned locations;
- Turkish Nationality required;
- Arabic native speaker is required;
- Valid bank account in Turkey required for payment.
Compensation:
The enumerators will be paid based on a daily rate of $45, including transportation costs. The payment will be made at the end of the assignment. Enumerators in Gaziantep and Kilis are expected to work for 11 days, and the enumerators in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir are expected to work six days any anytime during the period 9 to 30 March 2020.
