Takaful Al Sham Charity partners directly with affected Syrian populations delivering humanitarian and development programs, Livelihood, Education, and Protection, to enable them to improve their living practices and their sustainability mechanisms.
A Finance Archiving Assistant is responsible for organizing and maintaining financial records and documents for an organization. This may include tasks such as filing, digitizing, and storing documents, as well as retrieving and providing access to records as needed. The Finance Archiving Officer may also be responsible for implementing and maintaining records management systems and processes to ensure that financial documents are organized and secure.
Filing and organizing financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and financial statements
Digitizing paper documents and maintaining electronic records
Retrieving and providing access to financial records as needed
Maintaining records management systems and processes, including updates to electronic databases and physical filing systems
Ensuring the security and confidentiality of financial records
Providing training and support to other staff members on the proper handling and management of financial documents
Conducting periodic audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness
Working with other departments to ensure that financial documents are properly stored and organized
Managing the disposal of outdated or unnecessary financial documents in accordance with the Organization’s policies and legal requirements.
Qualification and Experience:
Proficiency in computer programs and systems used for financial recordkeeping, such as spreadsheets and accounting software
Experience with digitization and electronic records management, including the use of scanners, document management software, and other tools for capturing and storing electronic documents
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements, including the handling and storage of sensitive financial information
Familiarity with records management systems and processes, including the use of electronic databases and physical filing systems
Ability to use office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners
Familiarity with data entry and data management techniques
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work with IT staff to resolve problems
Proficiency in basic computer skills, such as email, word processing, and internet research.
