Job Purpose:

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the finance functions in the project. He will conduct, in addition to other necessary things, reviewing partners financial reports, taking a part of procurement procedures, following-up partners installments and closing payments and contracts.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Prepare day-to-day financial payment vouchers for all financial transactions.
• Ensure that all transactions comply with the Organization and donor policies and procedures, including ensuring with the procurement procedures.
• Review and verify the reconciliation sheets, financial reports and supporting documents

of the partners’ projects and for the field offices inside Syria.

• Reviewing partners financial reports and make sure that documents are comply with QC policies and working closely with program staff for budget expectation
• Taking a part of procurement procedures and reviewing the payment package before submitted.
• Prepare the audit files for internal & external auditors and make sure all financial documents are reviewed and available.
• Follow up asset reconciliations once requested.
• To perform any other task and jobs as and when required by the line manager/management

Job Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years working experience with INGOs, with a background of successfully performing finance role.
• A degree qualification in finance Management.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Excellent Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point).
• Fluency in both oral and written Arabic and English is essential, Turkish will be advantage.
