**BINAA is looking for a Grants / Controlling Assistant **, based in Gaziantep/Turkey.

Contract Type : Full-Time Or Part-Time

###Job Purpose:

Ensure all work processes and procedures are compliant with the donors’ and Binna’s conditions and requirements. To collaborate with other departments to oversee all aspects related to grants and contracts



** Key Activities/Tasks/Duties: **


•   Implement Control for all activities that have an impact on financial, organizational and project


•   Act as focal point for necessary data related to projects activities to maintain compliance.

•    Implement all of processes related to preparing budgets for the project and variances reports

•    Verify all activities related to monthly and annual closings process.

•    Verify all activities related to monthly and annual closings process.

•    Implement communication with other functions in terms of controlling

•    Preparing and updating the statement of cash flows with the concerned parties of the project and

submitting the appropriate reports

•    Tracking and monitoring operational variances that are needed to track performance.

•    Responsible for budget controlling, project controlling, business and internal controlling, process

controlling (i.e., managing contracts and donor expectations), overall compliance, and reporting

processes of the organization

•    Monitor proactive performance and support the development of corrective actions for deviations from

the target with a financial and organizational point of view.

•  Ensure all donor requirements for documentation of expenditures are met to facilitate attribution of


•    Conduct regular controls checks to determine whether there are any issues on committing the financial

plans in terms of overall costs, logistics, and further risks.


Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones, another future responsibility /accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.


### Required Qualifications (Education/Languages/Work Experience):

#### A. Essential:

• BA in Business Administration or any other relevant field.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position

• Good skills in the English language.

#### B. Desirable:

•   Experience in humanitarian work and principles.

• Pre-intermediate skills in the Turkish language

#### Required Competencies:

**A. Technical Competencies (TC): **

•     Hands-on experience in office software packages and ERP financial systems

•      Extensive knowledge and experience of internal, financial and project controlling, planning,

budgeting, reporting and KPI management.

•      Experience with nonprofit grant and contract administration

####General Requirements:

• Residency permit in Turkey (Applicants with Turkish nationality will be prioritized).
