About Zumra 

Zumra is an independent, non-profit NGO operating as a Charity in multiple countries. Zumra facilitates infrastructure projects, food programs and emergency relief efforts in developing nations and countries in crisis.

Zumra through partnership and cooperation facilitates building and empowering programs, and outreach efforts on behalf of our field partners. Our work is to collaborate and cooperate with NGO’s internationally for driving collective action towards delivering aid projects to communities in need.

About the Position 

Zumra is looking for a Graphic Designer to join us as an” Graphic Designer” for our Headquarters in Umraniye, Istanbul 

General Responsibilities;  

• Create and Design, 
• Writing content (Prefable)
• Research

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
• Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
• Performance retouching and manipulation of images
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
• Coordinating with outside agencies, photography studios, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and others
• Strong communication skills in Turkish and English
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
