Position/Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator
Report to: HR Manager (During the 3-month probationary period)
Department Name: HR Department
Expected Start Date: 15/07/2020
Office Location: Mercy-USA office in Antakya, Hatay South Turkey
Duties:
- Coordinate local recruitment activities and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Support the management, coaching and development of national staff to build a cadre of skilled, committed, and motivated staff.
- Work with HR team to update orientation/onboarding materials for new staff orientation and carry out orientations effectively.
- Review contracts, employee data & records, leave administration and compliance to HR policies and procedures.
- Review all personnel files and related HR documents country wide and work with HR team to ensure all files are up to date and in compliance with Mercy-USA policy.
- Ensure standardization of HR forms across offices and ensure use and sharing of best practices between field locations.
- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- University degree
- At least 3 years’ experience in related department.
- knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, and training and development.
- Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced.
- Confident and proficient use in MS office.
- Excellent English and Turkish speaking/writing skills required; Arabic is preferred.
