SCOPE OF WORK

Information Systems Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support for local and regional networks, servers, applications, and utilized hardware/software systems. Additionally, this role is responsible for offering remote and deskside technical support to organization users to ensure smooth operations and minimal down time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Timely response to requests for support via telephone, email, ticket, or walk up. Provide timely and clear communication and ensure tickets are open and updated until resolution.
  • Setup new users, devices, and provide access to internal applications; install software, use remote access tools to resolve service requests
  • Educate end users on best practices for using their devices and maintaining security
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software performance concerns
  • Maintain infrastructure inventory; tracking location, current use, configuration, hardware/software version, and support and upgrade information
  • Provide support to SIEM, network access control, VOIP, virtualization, storage, malware protection, print management, multifactor, backup management, update management systems and oversee devices like Firewalls, switches, and routers. Additionally, responsibilities include supporting cloud systems such as Office 365 and administering on-premises Windows Active Directory servers and Microsoft servers with similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the End User Support (help desk) field.
  • Knowledge and experience of IT systems, networks and servers.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team,
  • Knowledge of sufficient Turkish and English to communicate, explain and train staff,
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage the inquiry load of ICMC,
  • Willingness to work in a multi-cultural work environment.
