This is a part-time position with 1 year contract, with possibility of extension, for Nationals only.
Kids Rainbow (KR) is a Turkish NGO based in Gaziantep supporting refugee children and families from a difficult background. KR established a community center in 2021 offering everyday non-formal education activities for children between 6 and 13 years old.

Our Story
KR was born from the efforts of Syrians, Italians, Turkish and other international volunteers willing to support the refugee community in Gaziantep in 2021. The new born organization focuses on supporting refugee children from a disadvantaged background offering non-formal educational and recreational activities and child protection activities.
The team established a horizontal decision-making process, sharing resources and expertise in child and refugee protection, international cooperation, monitoring, logistics, partnership and media. KR focuses on the neighborhood dimension and has established a strong trust relation with the community, becoming one of the main Akyol focal point for children, parents and caregivers. Reaching a network of international donors and foundations, the team created a community center open everyday where children and their families can feel welcomed in a safe space.
The role:
This is an exciting position for a M&E professional to collaborate with a passionate team. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to support the team in establishing a strong monitoring, evaluation and learning mechanism of the program implemented and promoting KR coherent growth. The project involves 150 children attending KR activities, 12 local volunteers implementing the activities, 20 international volunteers changing every two months supporting recreational activities implementation, and 6 management staff. This person will closely collaborate with the Case Manager to support the case referral mechanism.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Developing and establishing M&E system for the project, providing expertise in M&E planning and methodology;
Implementing primary data collection and guiding the monitoring team on all aspects of the data collection, data analysis, case management processes with regards to global and local regulations, guidelines and best practices;
Supporting case referral to partners and other actors, contributing to the establishment of procedures and protocols;
Ensures compliance with global regulations and guidelines with regards to safety data collections;
Management and reporting related to monitoring and case management activities;
Participating in and providing support to project design activities including development of project theories of change and strategic frameworks (Results Frameworks, Log Frames);
Helping determine performance and impact indicators and targets;
Determining data analysis procedures and use of quantitative or qualitative analysis tools;
Cleaning, sorting, categorizing and organizing data;
Analyzing quantitative and/or qualitative data;
Summarizing findings;
Developing monthly, quarterly or annual reports depending on project requirements;
Disseminating evaluation findings and project results to the whole KR team.
Requirements:
- Language: Fluent in Arabic, English and Turkish;
- University degree in social work, human rights, psychology or related degree preferred;
- Minimum of 4 year experience in a M&E position, relevant experience in child and refugees protection programs in Turkey is preferable;
- Previous experience and demonstrated understanding of working with children, particularly vulnerable children;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Promotes teamwork, contributes towards building team consensus;
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for participants/beneficiaries;
- Positive and professional attitude, including ability to lead and work well in a multicultural team setting;
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Word. Excel, CPIMS, Kobo
