Job Purpose

Based in Gaziantep, the Media officer is under the line management of the Project manager.

He/She will be responsible for:

· Preparation, development, and implementation of media content including designs and promotions. Recording, editing, and preparing all videos for all projects.

· Creative ability to create written content via social media platforms. This includes creating and editing project news and information.

· Ensure that all media products are properly stored, saved, and archived.

· Follow-up and coordination with the media team to finish the tasks.

· Submit a report on handing over the required tasks.

Key Activities/Tasks/Duties

o Implement and follow up on Sened’s media policy.

o Prepare, develop and execute media content including designs and promos for all the organization’s projects and activities.

o Record, edit and prepare all requested video clips.

o Collaborate with the project managers to document all projects’ details.

o Monitor media content produced under the project to ensure its quality and integrity.

o Create the online content. This includes making and editing Sened’s news, following up on all news and ensuring it is posted accurately and correctly.

o Produce all the visual content from start to finish.

o Prepare, conduct and complete all video and photo shootings of the organization’s project, activities, workshops in and/or outside the organization as requested and edit the product of these sessions.

o Follow up and coordinate with the media team in Syria.

o Ensure all media products are properly stored, filed and archived.

o Provide a handover report at the end of assignment.

o Other related tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Required Qualifications (Education/Languages/Work Experience):

Essential

§ Turkish Nationality.

§ Bachelor degree in Fine Arts, Media or any other relevant field.

§ Two years of experience in a similar position.

§ Intermediate level in the Turkish or Arabic language.

§ Intermediate level in the English language.

§ Team management with the ability to delegate.

§ Experience in working on the following programs:

Adobe illustrator

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe InDesign

Adobe Photoshop

Lightroom

Adobe premiere

§ Priorities will be for people with disabilities or their families.

Desirable

§ Proven experience in humanitarian work and principles.

§ Proven experience in dealing with donor’s policies, procedures, requirements and compliance.

IT and Equipment

§ Good proficiency with Microsoft package.
