Shafak was officially established on 10-10-2013 (registration no. 27-016-129). It was founded during the early months of the Syrian Crisis in 2011. At its core, Shafak is a grassroots NGO that was formed by Syrians for Syrians, with the intent of addressing the needs of their life with dignity, equality, and humanity with a focus on sustainability and autonomy.

Shafak is an impartial, independent, non-profit NGO that exists for the express purpose of providing humanitarian services to vulnerable people regardless of political or religious affiliations and in the long run to contribute to recovery and rebuilding the society on a freedom, justice, and equality basis.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Office worker will work to keep Shafak premise, assets and personnel in good functional conditions.

Location:

HQ/Gaziantep

Reports to; Admin supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or competency required.

• Preparing refreshment.
• Services of the meetings.
• Cleaning all offices and department that required.
• Caring about office supplies of cleaning and hospitality.
• Following up cleaning requirements.
• Suggesting maintenance needs for the offices.
• Implementing all additional work requested by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

Essential

• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to complete the required tasks on time
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Proven work experience as a office worker or relevant position
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Language Required: Fluency in Turkish and Good spoken/written in English or Arabic.
