Job Purpose:

Under the direct supervision of the MEAL Officer, the enumerators will be responsible for data collection in selected communities in the several locations; Gaziantep, Hatay,
Kahrmanmaras, and Adyiaman .
Enumerators will conduct face to face interviews or through phone calls with selected community members and effacted populations . The methodology of data collection
consists of conducting quantitative and in-depth (qualitative) interviews. Enumerators will be trained on using the mobile data collection platform KOBO Collect, and on the
data collection questions beforehand. 

Major Responsibilities:
1  Participate in training before conducting the survey
2  Participate in collecting data in the field under supervision of Senior MEAL officer, ensuring data is collected according to guidance given during the training
3 Collect consent from all participants in the survey.
4  Record and submit the data on the KOBO platform on daily basis.
5  Ensure confidentiality of respondent data and treat survey respondents respectfully at all times
6  Ensure the data collected and entered is accurate, reliable and complete.
7  Conduct tasks according to the timelines set out by supervisor, respect set working hours and deadlines, and Submit all the narrative answers in English.
8  Submit a daily progress report to the line manager.
9  Carry out any other activities as required by the supervisor

Knowledge and Qualifications For The Role: 

Required Professional Experience
experience in working in field based data collection in a relief or development NGOs or similar related fields 

Required Education,training, license,registration, and certification
BS Degree in international development, international relations, public health, nutrition, statistics, community development, or other relevant discipline is required

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

• Fluency in Turkish and English is required; fluency in Arabic is plus;
• A proven previous experience conducting in-depth interviews, FGDS, and KIIs.
• A proven previous experience working on KOBO platform or similar platform.
• Excellent communication skills and high level professionalism and courtesy;
• Good contextual knowledge of local issues, community priorities, social and cultural constraints and realities;
• Ability to move around easily and familiarity with the mentioned districts in the mentioned locations
• Turkish Nationality required.
• Valid bank account in Turkey required for payment

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement:

• The position requires 100% of the time to be field-based
• Position requires willingness and ability to continue functioning during a crisis,including during a World Vision response to      an artificial or natural disaster.

Language Requirements:

Excellent written English,with fluency in speaking Arabic,English and Turkish.
• Ability to write excellent quality reports in English is required.
