THE PROGRAM

Qatar Charity establishes talent pools to fill the staffing needs of all the people who are interested in our organization for the ones who applied before but didn't join the Qatar Charity family yet or the ones who have not applied yet and want to follow up with our vacant. Technical experts who meet the qualification and language requirements and have international expertise are invited to create a candidate profile. Successful candidates will join the talent pool and are invited to apply when a suitable vacancy appears.

QC is building on this model to create talent pools of pre-vetted candidates with the skills and expertise they seek to speed up hiring more broadly. This approach will allow them to respond in a more timely manner to common vacancies, as well as those more hard-to-fill profiles, while also focusing on gender and geographic diversity in their hiring efforts. We are looking to have a group of people who are, on a short notice, able to take up a post with a considered and reviewed profile for easy shortlisting in the recruitment process.

Responsibilities and requirements for each function in Türkiye Country Office are different, therefore; after successfully selected, talents will be assigned to relevant departments (HR & Admin, Finance, Supply Chain, Programs Development & Quality, Programs Operations & Country Management) depending on their backgrounds, qualifications and existing departmental needs. Talents will be responsible for fulfilling challenging and complex tasks assigned by their reporting lines based on each department's needs. The talent pool at Qatar Charity Türkiye Country Office will be for an initial duration of 6 months, which may be extended further on specific circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training

Required

Bachelor Degree in business administration, engineering, medicine, nutrition, Development Studies, or relevant technical field.

Experience

Required

• Over 3 years of relevant work experience of which at least one in a not-for-profit humanitarian organization in a management position managing Emergency programming, or Support Affairs Department.
• Experience in program monitoring, coordination and information management.
• Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with other organizations.

Desired

• Ability to identify and implement opportunities for innovation.
• Ability to work within coordination mechanisms and as necessary represent QC in external meetings
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management and programming across borders intervention and turkey program 
• Ability to work with; support and influence others.

Technical Skills

Required

• Program experience in complex emergency contexts.
• Experience in the implementation of project management and basic needs programming
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent command of Excel and other data management software
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Demonstrated experience in project management.
• Understanding of project cycle end-to-end
• Development of project as per Implementation requirements  

Desired

• Strong coaching, training, and mentoring skills.
• Gender awareness and a commitment to gender equality.
