KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Outreach Worker under the supervision of the Team Leader shall be accountable for all the community outreach activities with the beneficiaries of the business management activities and the registration the consultant from the point of introducing parties together and for the follow-up of the results received. Within delegated authority, the Outreach Worker will be responsible but not be limited to the following duties:

  • Conduct visits to the consultant to collect relevant documents with the support of the Project Officer.
  • Engage in any meetings/training relevant to business management activity.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups on the condition of the supported projects and updating their status on the follow-up sheets.
  • Support beneficiaries visiting the ACTED lawyer in the training venue and visiting the registration consultant or any other governmental body relevant to the registration/expansion process.
  • Conduct meetings with program team on a weekly basis or whenever requested by the Project Manager and Project Officer.
  • Assist in tracking data related to business management activities.
  • Conduct multiple visits to the location of the projects providing progress reports and documentation of the progress.
  • Address beneficiaries concerns and maintain a close relationship with them.
  • Attend and engage in team and external meetings, support and supervision sessions.
  • Undertake any training and professional development that is conducted by the Team Leader and Project Officer with the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job title, as may be determined by the Line Manager.
  • Create and contribute to a collaborative working relationship and communication between other team members. Ensuring transparent, accurate and timely accomplishments under the guidance of the Outreach Team Leader.
  • Organizing, reviewing and integrating into Excel and Word all incoming data.
  • Conducting debriefing sessions with the Team Leader and the Project Officer to review all forms.
  • Accomplish in a timely manner all requested tasks on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere in the office and the good relationship with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Support the Team Leader and the Outreach team members with the other outreach activities whenever needed.

Qualifications:

-A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in the related field.

-Turkish ID holder and legally able to work in Turkey is a must.

-Advanced reporting skills in English is essentially required.

-Having experience in an I/NGOs is a strong asset.

-High motivation and teamwork orientation.

-Arabic language is an asset.
