Responsibilities  

As a Product Manager at GeniusTags, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing and managing the overall product strategy for our software solution.
2. Identifying market opportunities and defining product vision and roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders.
3. Leading cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product development and implementation.
4. Crafting professional proposals and presentations to pitch the product to NGOs and other humanitarian organizations.
5. Managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the successful completion of projects.
6. Continuously monitoring and evaluating product performance, identifying areas for improvement, and driving necessary changes.
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the competitiveness of our product.
8. Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
9. Assume end-to-end responsibility for the success of the product, driving its growth and profitability.
10. Make strategic decisions on product development, marketing, and resource allocation based on market trends and competitive analysis.
11. Take ownership of the product’s performance metrics, including revenue, user acquisition, and customer satisfaction, and be accountable for achieving targets.
12. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by NGOs and other humanitarian organizations, and tailor the product offering to address these concerns effectively.
13. Take ownership of the documentation process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is created, updated, and maintained throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualification 

To be considered for the Product Manager position, you must have:

1. A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in managing software projects.
3. Strong proposal writing and presentation skills.
4. Exceptional managerial and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
5. Knowledge of financial budgeting and project management best practices.
6. Problem-solver and analytical thinker.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
2. An extensive network within the NGO and humanitarian sector.
