Summary:

The program coordinator is responsible for overall management to program fund. He reports to the program coordinator. He is in charge of managing the program within all its disciplines, tools, and deliverables. This will require him/her to work constructively with colleagues across partners, remotely, and cross other departments. He is in charge of increasing partner satisfaction. The program coordinator contributes to finding added-value deliverables by managing program resources and reporting.  The Program Coordinator develops plans and implements project management procedures and tools. Program coordinator aligns his roles and activities in alignment with program management department. You will also be responsible for managing and developing the communications strategy and impact activities in coordination with colleagues and partners. He\She ensures a smooth flow of information internally and externally. Also, program coordinator manages compliance with partners’ agreements and requirements.  This position requires an individual who is accustomed to the pace of emergency response programming, has experience in successfully leading a diverse team, is flexible and highly responsive, and can work well under pressure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Development:
1- Developing a monthly plan to implement the program. It includes all disciplines, levels, activities and other interrelated industries.
2- Providing recommendations in line with the program development. It includes learned lessons, challenges and risks.

Supervision:
1- direct supervision of program officer\assistant and remote supervision for Syria team about their deliverables and technical perspectives.
2- direct supervision of sub-contracts and any budget-related activities to insure integration with the program objectives.

Implementation:

1.       kick-off the program and incorporate all relevant stakeholders’ inputs, in addition to inclusion of departments and Syria team staff.

2.       Integrate new components\requests with the main program objectives.

3.       Provide the program work plans that ensures the efficient implementation across different projects towards achieving the set objectives and results.

4.       Manage activities in Turkey and follow up to Syria staff in Syria and provide them with the necessary technical support

5.       Close follow up with the operations on the procurement plans ensuring efficient supply chain management processes are in place.

6.       Field visits and perform spot check for activities inside Syria.

7.       Manage internal meetings, monthly review meetings, and external ones with donors.

8.       Hold regular meetings with the programs department members to ensure synergies are in place, good information-sharing practices, and close follow up of the work plans.

9.       Report program progress and ensure liaison with other departments for functional reports.

10.   Manage the project archiving process.

11.   Represent the program with external partners and the steering committee.

12.   Report incident reports and incident activities related to program management.

Required qualifications

  1. BA in Medicine or pharmacy
  2. Exoeriance in the same field 2 years 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. PMD Pro 1 certificate
  2. Microsoft office Advanced (Excel - Word)
  3. Other requirment :
  • · Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
  • · Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
  • · Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • · Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • · Records maintenance skills.
  • · Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.
  • · Knowledge of communication principles.
  • · Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
  • · Advanced writing and editorial skills
