Post Description

The Program Supervisor will support in the designof a data management system for BPRM project in Turkey. The BPRM project is runin southern Turkey in offering support for raise awareness of leishmaniasis.The candidate for this position would have a strong interest in providingtechnical support and data management and analysis skills to staff and partnersinvolved in the design, implementation and evaluation of interventions thatrely on beneficiaries adopting practices that protect them from transmittingleishmaniasis. He/she needs to have very good skills in data management,cleaning and analysis to enable the informed decision-making process based onreliable data collected from the field.

Main responsibilities:

1. Work collaborativelywith other project team members to support program planning, development, monitoringand modification through an organized data management system.

2. Contribute to timelyand appropriate reporting in the BPRM Project through maintaining a clear datamanagement system.

3. Support the medicalteam in training, supervision, registration and archiving of beneficiaries’ datathrough designing appropriate systems that capture information for thedifferent activities.

4. Support IEC team intraining, material distribution, and conducting the IEC sessions through maintainingan organized data management system for these activities.

5. Support the M&Eteam in training and data collection to enable the decision-making process.

6. Collate and analyseall data coming from the field through well-designed formats and templates.

7. Work with IEC officerto ensure the efficient management of data related to stock and assets of theIEC/BCC campaigns ensuring timely reporting of the stocks and assets of IECcomponent.

8. Coordinate with otheractors relevant to the project including: participation in meetings, activelyengaging with other INGOs/NGOs, local authorities, and UN bodies to maximiseresources.

9. Any other duties asmay be assigned by the CD, medical coordinator, M&E coordinator,
Potential transfer to a similar role in another MENTOR team/programme, bymutual consent.

Requirements:

Essential

·  High reporting and datamanagement skills.

·  Very good analytical skills

·  Exceptionalcreativity and innovation

·  Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills

·  Accuracy andattention to details in a data management context

·  Professional approachto time, costs and deadlines

·  Fluent in Arabic, English, written and spoken;

·  Excellentpresentation, oral and writing skills in Arabic, English, and Turkish

·  Ability tocommunicate and work well with staff at all levels of the organization

·  Minimum 2 years practical experience

·  Valid work permit orTurkish ID card.

·  Turkish Nationality

Desirable

·  Turkish Language is desirable.

As the MENTOR Initiative is working in a constantly changinghumanitarian aid environment, reasonable specific work duties may occasionallybe requested that may not fit into the above job description, but which willhelp promote over all programs goals and aims. Includes the possibility oftransfer to another similar post across MENTOR country programmes within theperiod of this contract agreement.
