FGB is looking for a new consultant in Ankara: Project Communication Junior consultant (fixed-term basis, October 2019 - July 2020).

The officer will support the implementation of a European Commission grant project, aimed at fostering exchange between EU and Turkish CSOs.

The main activities foreseen by the project are the following:

• A Training Need Analysis
• An online training
• Communication/awareness raising activities by using social media for knowledge exchange
• A study visit to Italy
• Two international conferences in Ankara

The ideal candidate should be experienced in administrative/financial management of grant projects (ideally, having at least one grant already implemented with the CFCU in Turkey) and social media managing.

He/She should be Turkish mother-tongue and fluent in English.

He/She should carry out the following tasks:

1. Administrative/Financial support

• Administrative and financial support of the project’s activities carried out in Turkey: dealing with Turkish service providers, travel agencies, participants to the event etc, to recollect estimations, invoices, CFCU’s signatures of contracts and any other supporting proof required by the project
• Support to the preparation of administrative material for auditing visits
• Continuous check/update of information on the Management Information System
• Organization of the Study visit (concerning the logistic of travels and expenses of participants from Turkey)
• Contribute to the preparation and delivery of the project Interim report and Final report

1. Technical support

• Support the finalization of project outputs, liaising with the Turkish partner for technical review and editing in Turkish/English
• Follow up with the Turkish partner on data collection and regular communication with CSOs in Turkey
• Support the finalization of the TNA and delivery of online training (modules in Turkish)
• Support the Turkish partner during technical reviews, organization of the activities, collecting and translating minutes of the meetings

1. Communication/logistic support

• Design of communication plan, visual identity and communication toolkit in cooperation with the project’s graphic designer
• Creation and management of a project platform on social media (Facebook)
• Creation/weekly update of newsletters, publications on Facebook and other external resources
• Organization of the international events in Turkey
• To be responsible for the publication of the edited volume
