GOPA Danismanlik is part of a wider international group of companies organised under a holding structure (headquarters in Germany). This holding structure has an ERP system in place. Now, GOPA Danismanlik (Ankara) is in the process of adopting the same ERP system. To assist GOPA Danismanlik in this integration process in compliance with Turkish accounting rules, we are looking to hire a new team member.

Your tasks:

• Quick learning and understanding of the GOPA specific ERP system
• Translation of GOPA’s accounting terminologies and elements into the Turkish context in compliance with Turkish accounting legislation and rules
• Manage the ERP system integration together with the help of our tax advisor and GOPA management
• Engaging with our current tax advisor effectively throughout the process
• Providing guidance to our administrative manager and suggesting improvements for processes
• Project management advisory to our project managers in the field of financial management
• You report directly to the GOPA Danismanlik Managing Director

Your profile:

• An academic degree in accounting and/or finance; or a degree in international business; or MBA with proven focus on accounting
• Experience with project management, ideally related to EU-funded projects or in the field of international cooperation
• Business fluent in English
• Sound user knowledge of standard MS Office Tools, especially with MS Excel
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with accounting and ERP software is a must
• Willingness to travel and to spend some limited time abroad
• Proven ability to work in a team
