The development sector faces particular hurdles that derive from the complexity of global problems. Difficulties in changing the behavior of beneficiaries, the barriers encountered in scaling, failure to respond to change, and the challenge of properly measuring impact are getting more and more inevitable in the development world. Nevertheless, the development sector needs an innovative mindset and, to the same extent, an innovative programming strategy.
Innovation for Development (I4D) was founded to answer the fundamental question: How can we generate innovative ideas and develop better responses to the world’s toughest problems?

Competencies for the Positions
a) Concentration of the Responsibilities:
Advocacy: To ensure the production of reports and projects for the integration of economically and socially disadvantaged women and asylum seeker individuals/actors into the supply chain and focusing on capacity building process.
Entrepreneurship: The capacity-building of women-owned enterprises (such as cooperatives) and women entrepreneurs to make a good framework with the public and private sector in the context of supply-chain management for promoting the economic empowerment of women, social entrepreneurship, and inclusive business models.
Teamwork: Project development and project management is an effective teamwork product. From this point of view, applicants are expected to be open to teamwork and fulfill their responsibilities.
Time Management: Time planning and quality are the basic parameters in project management. From this point of view, having time and quality management is expected from the applicants in order to control all process management efficiently.
Creativity: Every case requires original process management and methodology within the ecosystem of sustainable development. For this reason, applicants are expected to develop creative approaches for complex problems.
Interest in Social and Economic Issues: All our reports, field and project work are shaped by social and economic parameters/determinants. In this context, applicants are expected to have a tendency to understand challenging circumstances.
b) Soft Skills for the Position
At least 2 years of proven work experience within the field of project management with a special focus on refugee entrepreneurship, women entrepreneurship, women cooperatives, social entrepreneurship, social market development.
Proficiency in MS Office is required. (Also, experience on MS Project is a plus)
Proactive and able to prioritise and delegate a demanding workload by projects coordinator and manager.
Advanced level of spoken and written English and Turkish is required
Willingness to take part in researches conducted in the fields of private sector development / economic empowerment in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Good communication skills (previous experience with stakeholder and beneficiary communication management is a plus)
Knowledge of Zoom and online meeting management
Report writing and research skills
