The Maram Foundation for Relief and Development (Maram) is a non-profit organization, founded by American-Syrian activists with the aim of alleviating the suffering of people in need since its inception to date the foundation had delivered lifesaving aid and developmental projects to hundreds of thousands of Syrian IDPs and refugees along with host committees. Location: Turkey-Kilis

Main tasks and duties of the job:

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions
  • Conduct group psychosocial support sessions through group activities and workshops
  • Work within the Inter-Agency Referral System guidelines to refer cases and follow up on all cases
  • Support Center Manager in creating opportunities for social cohesion among beneficiaries
  • Provide guidance and support to the community worker in community outreach activities
  • Provide staff training to build the capacity of psychosocial support
  • Build relationships with other organizations in the Kilis community to ensure communication between services
  • Provide a program manager with a topline monthly report 

    Qualifications:

  • University degree in Psychology, Counseling, or other relevant studies
  • More than three years of relevant experience
  • Arabic is required; Turkish or English is preferred
  • Turkish citizenship is required
  • MS Office experience​
