Organization Profile:

Rebuilding & Development Organization, also known as “IMAAR”, is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental civil society organization. “IMAAR” was established at the first quarter of 2016 by a group of Syrian Engineers, Economists and Lawyers.

“IMAAR” head office is located in Gaziantep, Turkey, and has a branch in the city of Daret Azza / Aleppo governorate. Generally, “IMAAR” is active in all Syrian regions, and particularly in the SNW. It is also active in all Syria’s neighboring countries and the LEVANT area, in which the Syrians people are living.

“IMAAR” is targeting its projects primarily for Syrians (residents, refugees, and displaced persons) and host communities, in addition to all residents of the LEVANT area. It provides its services to anyone with no regard to race, color, gender, religion, or political orientation.

“IMAAR” is working in the various humanitarian and development sectors within the following three core tracks:

1) Humanitarian & Relief Programs

2) Stabilization Support & Recovery Programs

3) Rebuilding & Development Programs

“IMAAR” is licensed in the Republic of Turkey, Gaziantep, as a non-profit association according to the Turkish Associations Law, under the official license number "27-019-164" date 31st of March 2016, name "Yenidan Kuruluş Ve Kalkınma Derneği", tax Number: (383 043 905 0) ŞEHİTKAMİL / GAZIANTEP.

Vacancy Attributes:

The candidate should be:

  • Have a permit to work in Turkey

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree holder in business administration, economy, or similar
  • Experience: have minimum 6 years’ experience in similar positions
  • Management Skills: have high level of communications, time management, reports writing, follow-up.
  • Personal Skills: Pro-active, task oriented, hardworking and teamwork.
  • IT Skills: familiar with the following software and applications: Asana, all MS office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Power PI).
  • Knowledge: Have a good knowledge of Syrian context, familiar with humanitarian and development fields.
  • Languages: Must be fluent in both Arabic & English language (preferable native speaker). Turkish languages will increase the scoring points of the candidate.

 

Job Description:

The employee will be a sole responsible for all recruitment of new staff either local or international. The following are the main responsibilities of this job position:

  • Preparation of Job Description according to the organizational chart of the organization
  • Select the best method of recruitment and preparation of recruitment plan of the organization
  • Preparation of Job Vacancy Announcement / Advertisement, then publish them on the organization’s website, social media channels / pages, local and international job vacancies advertisement platforms
  • Communicate with the recruitment consultancy firms to assign them for recruitment of certain high-level positions and experts.
  • Receive all job applications, initial screening / filter them and make the short-listed of candidates
  • Interview the short-listed candidates and prepare the candidate evaluation report
  • Preparation of job offer and employment / free lancing contracts.
  • Manage the communications with the selected candidates from receiving the job application until signing the employment / free lancing contracts 
  • Follow up with the selected candidate until commencing of his duties
  • Register the new employees in the social security programs in Turkey
