General Objectives and Tasks

• Assist Director with Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Prepare and distribute budget reports and financial statements to management in a timely fashion.
• Prepare necessary reports assigned for Month-end Pack.
• Prepare Regional Stand-alone Management Account Reports to assist International Finance Section Lead and Group Finance Manager.
• Prepare monthly project-based financial reports in-line with Management Account Reports and distribute to Project Managers.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports & outputs requested from Team Members or outside Team Members on time.
• Generate Payables reports and other reports as requested for International Divisions.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
• Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
• Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
• Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.
• Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

Expectations

• ERP experience in Finance tools (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) is an asset
• 3-5 years finance related professional experience
• Project management environment finance experience is an asset
• Cost Accounting experience is an asset
• Accrual bases reporting is an asset
