About Bahar:

Bahar Organization is an independent non-profit and non-governmental organization that provides humanitarian aid to vulnerable people without any discrimination in all its forms. BO is operating to respond to the needs and basic requirements of the humanitarian crisis in Syria in the middle of the affected communities caused by the conflict the basic principles of BO’s activities are to enhance the basic living standards of the affected population by delivering humanitarian aid based on the needs.

Purpose of Position:

Working with the Supply Chain Department on day-to-day tasks and responsibilities and support the logistics Coordinator in all operations and communication needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that the procurement process is followed with the internal standard policies and regulations and all NGO's and other shareholder’s requirement and guidelines are in place during the process.
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services and coordinate with the respective staff.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. And follow up daily with suppliers regarding delivery and implementation
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
Update trackers and registries on regular basis.
Update project managers about their projects on daily basis

Academic Qualification/s and Professional Experience:

Holding a bachelor degree in Business Administration or relevant certificate.
At least 3 years’ experience in Logistics with humanitarian organization or civil societies.
Excellent commands on computer skills, especially MS office suite.
Fluent in English language in read, speak and write.
Spirit team work
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
Proficient in standard logistics software.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
