Do you have extensive experience of managing donor-funded projects? Would you relish travelling extensively around Turkey to take initiatives forward? Then you can play a central part in the Strengthening Health Care Infrastructure for All (SHIFA) project within the Facility for Refugees in Turkey (FRIT). Managed by the CEB and financed by the EU via a €90 million grant, the project will transform healthcare services in Turkish provinces with a high density of Syrian refugees.

Strengthening social cohesion and building thriving communities in Europe and beyond, we drive inclusive growth, bolster economic sustainability – and create exceptional careers.

Co-ordinating activity across our Project Office - Ankara, you will scope, analyse and review initiatives, whilst evaluating operational, technical, environmental and social considerations. Equally importantly, you will assess tenders, track budgets, monitor compliance with evolving international standards and provide comprehensive technical support. Above all, you will ensure that project teams remain apprised of milestones and deadlines via Gantt Charts, the Procurement Tracking System and Risk Management tables, as well as detailed reports delivering real insights – so you will be crucial to making everything happen.

  • Experience of project management and CAD software.
  • A meticulous approach to keeping records, backed by strong writing and editing ability.
  • Full fluency in English and Turkish, preferably backed by some command of French.
  • Proven ability to manage consultants across the project lifecycle (ideal but not essential).

In return, you can expect an excellent tax-free salary and a comprehensive package of benefits, including dependent child allowance based on eligibility, medical insurance, leaving allowance at the end of appointment with CEB (when less than 10 years of service).
