Communications and Content Assistant

About V Foundation 

V Foundation is a global initiative that fosters a deeper appreciation of listening as the essential element of all our connections. Through strategic partnerships with academia, civil society, and the public and private sectors, we generate knowledge, develop methodologies, and raise awareness about the transformative practice we call Generous Listening. 

In Türkiye, our Generous Listening Program includes emotional support groups and training activities in both earthquake-affected regions and urban centers. These initiatives focus on healing, resilience, cohesion, and building a culture of empathy and presence. 

As our work expands, we are looking for a Communications and Content Assistant who is eager to help bring these stories and messages to life — someone who understands that communication is not just about visibility, but about holding space for voices to be heard. 

What You’ll Do 

• Create and schedule thoughtful content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn), including story-based posts, behind-the-scenes field updates, and campaign visuals 

• Design engaging visual materials (social media posts, posters, story cards, digital flyers) using tools like Canva or InDesign, staying true to our visual identity and tone 

• Archive and organize multimedia from the field, and create short-form video content (e.g., Reels, Shorts) 

• Support the team with updates to presentation decks, reports, and communication kits for partners and trainings 

• Assist with the translation and formatting of Turkish/English communication materials 

• Help prepare visual content for in-person and online events, workshops, and trainings 

• Provide logistical support for communication activities (e.g., printing, layout checks, coordination with vendors) 

• Help update website content and visuals (no codding required) 

• Track and report on social media performance using basic analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics) 

• Support rollout and coordination of awareness campaigns and special projects (e.g., podcast releases, awareness days) 

• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to visual guidelines 

What We’re Looking For 

• A bachelor's degree or final-year student in communications, media, visual arts, or a related field 

• Working knowledge of visual tools like Canva or Adobe InDesign 

• Excellent writing and grammar skills in both Turkish and English 

• A detail-oriented, organized, and proactive approach 

• Interest in storytelling, social impact communication, and nonprofit values 

• Experience working with community-based or civil society projects is a plus 

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a hybrid environment
