Position’s General Description:

The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting staff, goods, and equipment to various locations as required by the organization's activities. The position also involves ensuring the maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of the vehicle(s) used, and providing support for logistical operations.

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

1.  Driving Shafak rental cars to provide service to Shafak employees as required and according to the schedule specified by the Logistics Officer
2. perform basic safety/security checks on his vehicles before starting to drive at the end of the day and on a weekly basis. ( Tire pressure/condition , battery water , fuel and oil levels, coolant water , etc.)
3. Maintain a neat and accurate record of all trips in the vehicle log sheet/  vehicle log book
4. Immediately inform the logistics official of any damage or accident by following the correct procedures in the event of an accident or complaint.
5. Assisting expatriate employees in translation / interpretation as requested by the required employees.
6. Not to transport any person who is not authorized by the logistic officier in the task of car movement
7. Refrain from carrying alcohol, contraband, weapons and fuel in the car.
8. Responsible for collecting, storing, transporting and delivering   all goods in his/her car .
9. Follow the driving and safety procedures outlined in the Shafak Organization's policy andRespect the traffic regulations according to the Land Transport and Traffic Regulations

Mandatory Knowledge:

1. Intermediate School Certificate
2. Holds a driving certificate category /  B

Preferred Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of road safety regulations and basic vehicle maintenance.
2. Ability to work flexible hours and travel to remote locations when required.

Strong communication skills and a professional, reliable attitude

Mandatory Skills and Experiences:

1-Intermediate level of Turkish

Preferred Skills and Experience:

1. Proven driving experience, preferably in an NGO or field environment between One to three years of experience
