Humanitarian action in Syria and the world is at a critical juncture. The need for it has increased and suffering has increased, placing great responsibility on charitable associations and foundations. ATAA sensed this responsibility and began to work to provide assistance and qualitative projects that alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people and strengthen their resilience. We have realized that sustainability and raising standards of humanitarian action are the only way to sustain and gain donors’ confidence. Thank God, during 2019, we were able to achieve more than 74 partnerships with international, Arab and Islamic institutions, with funding exceeding $50 million, and with various projects, both in the food security sector and non-food sector. Shelter, sanitation, education and health projects. In some areas, we have started work on early recovery projects, and we have promoted endowment projects and development projects with a sustainable impact.
