IT Specialist - Ankara

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

WYG Türkiye is currently seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our team in Ankara Head Office.

This position requires specific qualifications, which include:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant additional professional experience,
• Minimum 5 years of general professional experience,
• Certificates in web technologies and/or programming languages desirable,
• Previous working experience on Social Media Management or Web Development is an asset,
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team,
• Good command of written and spoken English is an asset,
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) at a level to follow technical documents will be an asset,
• Full computer literacy,
• Experienced on help desk support systems.
• Proven knowledge of LAN and network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of relevant software solutions
• Experienced in Microsoft technologies.
• Being flexible in working hours and having no travel restrictions,
• Ability to work in a team.

Job Description

• Ensuring hardware infrastructure is robust and working full-time.
• Ensuring that local area network health.
• Knowledge of all related software systems, hardware configuration files, document management systems and staff computers for reliable IT infrastructure.
• Managing IT procurement process.
• Install, configure, monitor, and control hardware systems (laptops, printers, servers, modems, switches etc.)
• Utilize appropriate specialist software packages to support the delivery of functional and wider business objectives.
• Diagnosing software and hardware problems
• Technically support the delivery of tasks/activities in respect of time, quality of output and relevant quality standards.
• Keep track of IT supplies and equipment e.g. switches, routers, servers, desktops, cables and adapters.
• IT support for the company staff is provided.
• Track and respond help desk tickets on time.
• Starting over Website from scratch and publication of Website,

• Moving an existing site to another domain without any problems,
• Preparation of visuals to be used on the Website to be designed by their own means without the need for another designer,
• Creating and publishing WordPress Website,
• Fulfilling change requests regarding the current website,
• Optimizing On-site SEO and Websites,
• Adding and editing WordPress content, when necessary,
• Website from scratch and publication of Website started over,
• Moving an existing site to another domain without any problems established,
• Ready-made WordPress themes and plugins in accordance with the customer's request configurated and activated,
• Visuals to be used on the Website to be designed by their own means without the need for another designer prepared,
• WordPress Website created and published.
• Change requests regarding the current website fulfilled,
• Designing, making, and maintaining the websites to be made within the company and related projects within the company,
• Have knowledge of all local IT systems including servers, telephony systems, copiers, network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), and server room hardware (UPS, environmental monitoring, etc.)
• Identify problems and maintain printers, copiers and scanners in a production environment.
