13JOB ADVERTISEMENT – Livelihood Assistant

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: The responsibilities of the post may require the post holder to have regular contact with or access to children or young people.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The post will work on the project to improve the integration, resilience, psychosocial well-being, and economic self-sufficiency of economically vulnerable refugees and host community youth (18 – 35 years old) in Istanbul. By strengthening the capacity and quality of local municipal services through training, additional human resources, and other capacity-building/sharing initiatives, the project seeks to create sustainable local change in the provision of inclusive services for both communities. The Livelihood Assistant will support the implementation of livelihood activities aimed at increasing the self-sufficiency and employability of refugees and host community member youth in Istanbul(with field visits to neighboring districts). This includes conducting outreach to beneficiaries, facilitating Skills to Succeed (S2S) training, assisting with job placement services, and providing administrative support for monitoring and reporting project activities. The Livelihood Assistant will work closely with the MHPSS Officer, and other project staff to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes under the supervision of the Livelihoods Officer.

Position holder will be based in Istanbul, therefore legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application.
