Job Title: Child Sponsorship Program Officer.
Summary of the position: He/she will be responsible for following up and coordinating the sponsorship processes with field teams and supervisors in the supporting institutions. He/she will follow up on the daily procedures of projects and programs inside Syria, and ensure that projects adhere to human rights and children’s rights standards. He/she will also prepare periodic reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) on the progress of the programs, and will cooperate closely with the Project Manager to provide the necessary support and achieve the program objectives.
Reference number : RV-OTG-004.
Administrative dependency : Works directly under the supervision of the Project Manager and reports periodically to ensure activities are aligned with set objectives.

Position’s General Description:
1. Follow up on sponsorship operations with field teams to ensure smooth workflow, and coordinate with sponsorship supervisors in supporting institutions to update sponsored persons' data continuously.
2. Submit proposals for new sponsored persons' names according to the institution's standards and priorities, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports on the status of sponsored persons and their demographic changes.
3. Review and update sponsored persons' files periodically to verify the comprehensiveness of the information, and evaluate the social and economic status of sponsored persons to verify that they meet the sponsorship criteria.
4. Ensure the protection of sponsored persons' personal information according to privacy standards, and organize training workshops for field teams on privacy policies and sponsorship standards.
5. Participate in planning and implementing programs in cooperation with field work teams to ensure that goals are achieved.
6. Follow up on the implementation of daily projects and programs in coordination with employees inside Syria, while conducting statistical analyses to evaluate effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
7. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports and submit them to senior management, and organize periodic meetings with field teams to follow up on progress and solve problems.
8. Develop and implement phased action plans to achieve program objectives and create databases to track program beneficiaries and sponsored persons.
9. Provide demographic studies to identify the most needy groups and strategically direct programs, monitor budgets and report on financial spending to achieve goals within specified resources.
10. Coordinate with supporting agencies to obtain updates related to funding and projects, support the improvement of project operations and propose innovative solutions to increase efficiency.
11. Guide field teams on policies and procedures adopted in program implementation.
12. Adhere to human rights and children's rights standards in all activities related to sponsorships and programs, and ensure the application of international governance standards and principles of transparency and accountability.
13. Ensure the team's commitment to quality procedures and accountability to supporting agencies, and review and approve protection and safety policies in line with international standards.
14. Participate in developing social protection policies for sponsored persons, and use analysis programs to evaluate data from projects and report on effectiveness.
15. Preparing the required reports for donors and international partners to reflect the impact of programs, and analyzing demographic and economic results to determine the ideal distribution of resources.
16. Providing surveys on beneficiary needs to improve program effectiveness, and building strong relationships with local and international partners to enhance funding opportunities and achieve common goals.
Qualifications and requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in management, development, or related field; international certifications in project management or governance preferred.
Experience: 3 years of practical experience in managing sponsorships or humanitarian programmes in NGOs or international organisations.
Turkish citizenship is required.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with international and local partners.
Analyze data and prepare reports accurately in accordance with the requirements of international organizations.
Proficiency in Arabic and very good English skills, knowledge of an additional language is preferred.
Proficiency in using technology tools for data analysis and planning such as Excel, PowerPoint and project management software.
Languages:
Advanced written and spoken Arabic language. Intermediate written and spoken English or/and in the Turkish language.
