Position :  PSS Worker - Female only.
Location : NSPPL - REYHANLI  Center , HATAY - TURKEY
Duration : 8 Months .

About NSPPL :

The National Syrian Project for prosthetic limbs (NSPPL ) has been established in Feb 2013 by a group of Syrian doctors overseas to help the people whose parts have been imputed as a result of the Syrian war and provide them with prosthetic parts and the appropriate rehabilitation , and Licensed in Syria in Feb 2025 as The Syrian Foundation for Prosthetics Limbs and Rehabilitation.

 NSPPL is a  non-profit organization which serves people in Syria and Turkey.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Managing the work team (prosthetic technicians) and developing their capabilities.
2. Developing a work plan for the technical team aligned with the project objectives.
3. Coordinating with other departments and the warehouse manager.
4. Developing a needs plan aligned with the project objectives.
5. Basic ability to assess and describe prosthetic and orthotic cases.
6. Manufacturing prosthetic and orthotic devices for the lower and upper limbs, as well as spinal orthoses at all stages.
7. Training beneficiaries on the gait cycle and the use of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
8. Maintaining and repairing all existing orthotic and prosthetic devices.
9. Scheduling patient appointments.
10. Identifying problems and working to resolve them to ensure beneficiary satisfaction with the devices provided.
11. Professional ethics and practices demonstrate the following:

• Respect for the client's privacy.
• Regular interaction with children in the presence of their parents or caregivers.
• Discussing needs and requirements professionally with colleagues.
• Reporting any event or action that could harm the client or others.
• Demonstrating competence in conducting effective rehabilitation interventions.

Qualifications & requirements:

• A university degree in orthotics and prosthetics.
• At least three years of experience managing teams.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• The ability to communicate in Arabic and English is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
