Head of Information Technology and Security

SCOPE OF WORK

The Head of Information Technology and Security (ITS), reporting to the Deputy Regional Director, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's IT infrastructure, security, and support services across Türkiye and Lebanon. This key leadership role provides strategic direction and management in several critical areas, including infrastructure (server and network), reporting and business intelligence, end-user support, application support, and information security. Additionally, the position leads a cross-departmental team to ensure the seamless integration of security frameworks throughout the organization’s processes.

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Information Technology and Security to lead our IT and information security initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while managing a talented team of IT professionals.

Responsibilities:

Management:

• Oversee the development and implementation of IS policies aligned with ICMC’s goals, information security frameworks, and legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with donor and legal requirements in all IS strategies and practices.
• Develop and manage the ITS department's budget, focusing on cost efficiency and resource utilization.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, and team retention to build a motivated team.

Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the organization's system infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization.
• Manage system upgrades and ensure system reliability and performance.
• Lead network infrastructure planning and security measures to safeguard against threats.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.

Application Support:

• Oversee business applications’ deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
• Manage project planning and vendor relationships for application selection and implementation.
• Ensure smooth application performance and lead a team to resolve issues and support users.

Information Security:

• Implement security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001 to manage risks and protect sensitive data.
• Lead the deployment of security technologies, including MFA, DLP, and MDM, to mitigate risks.
• Manage incident response, audit activities, and remediation to maintain compliance with security policies.
• Lead audit responses and remediation efforts, collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to address findings and implement corrective actions in a timely manner. 

End-user Support:

• Oversee help desk operations, ensuring timely technical support and high levels of user satisfaction.
• Manage the development of user training programs to enhance technology usage across the organization.

Other Responsibilities:

• Lead incident response and business continuity planning, ensuring organizational resilience.
• Manage ISMS panel activities to integrate security frameworks across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years proven experience in managing IS infrastructure and services.
• Fluent English (C1 level) with excellent communication skills.
• Preferred professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CAPM, CISSP, NCSP Foundation).
• Commitment to high standards of integrity and compliance with ICMC's zero-tolerance policies.
