Summary of the position

The psychiatrist will be responsible for providing consultation to patients and compliance with health The Physiotherapy Doctor is responsible for evaluating patients attending the physical therapy center, establishing appropriate treatment plans, supervising the implementation of therapy programs in collaboration with team leaders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Additionally, the role involves providing specialized consultations, monitoring patient progress, and overseeing all center operational and clinical functions.

Key relationships:

 Team leaders, physical therapists, and physiotherapy assistants 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Patient Care and Treatment

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients attending the center.
• Provide specialized consultations to patients and their families.
• Monitor patient improvement and adjust the treatment plan as necessary. 
• Develop and oversee physical therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the center team leader.

Team Leadership and Supervision

• Supervise the technical staff at the physical therapy center, providing guidance and feedback on best practices.
• Lead case study sessions as required.
• Identify and address staff training needs to ensure continuous professional development.

Center Management and Operations

• Collaborate with the Gaziantep Directorate of Health (DoH) to implement their physiotherapy protocols and stay informed with the latest updates.
• Join the DoH team during their visits to the PT center and provide explanations of the workflow.
• Ensure the patient notebook is completely ready for review and signature by the DoH team.
• Attend physiotherapy-related meetings organized by the DoH.
• Document all medical procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
• Review and approve monthly reports and all other documents required by DoH.

THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Qualifications required.

• A university degree in medicine with a physiotherapy specialty certificate is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience as a physiotherapy physician.

Languages

• Fluently speak Turkish (mother tongue).

   

CONTRACT CONDITIONS

The salary will be defined according to the SAMS Turkey Office salary scale ongoing.
