About V Foundation

V Foundation is a global initiative that fosters a deeper appreciation of listening as the essential element of all our connections. Through partnerships with academia, civil society, and the private sector, we generate knowledge, develop methodologies, and inspire awareness on the transformative essence of generous listening. Our mission is to spread the culture of generous listening worldwide.

We have conducted awareness activities internationally and established the Generous Listening and Dialogue Center at Tufts University in the USA. With an expert international team, we have developed a generous listening methodology that can be adapted and applied to various communities, topics, cultures, and geographies.

Generous Listening

Generous Listening is the skill that goes beyond hearing words—it is listening with both the heart and mind, with the intention to embrace openness, courage, curiosity, and responsiveness. It is about listening to oneself, others, and nature with full attention, without prejudice, with the intention to understand, and with curiosity.
