29The Business Development Associate - Tender Distribution & Training is responsible for advancing Building Markets' business development objectives by enhancing the capacity and knowledge of SMEs, enabling them to successfully apply for and win tenders. This role involves developing technical expertise in tender distribution and providing training to support SME growth. The position is based in Istanbul or Gaziantep, with occasional travel to regional offices across Türkiye.

Other Duties Assigned by Management As Needed Such As;
Communications:
Collaborate with the communications team by sharing information and ideas to contribute to content creation.
General
Any other tasks as agreed with management
Qualifications
• University degree in a relevant field and/or secondary school certificate and relevant professional experience;
• Fluent in English and Turkish; Arabic would be a plus
• Turkish nationality;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to making sure details are correct, including managing data on client interactions;
• An extroverted personality who enjoys outreach and interacting with a range of clients;
• Motivated to promote private sector development and support refugee communities in Türkiye;
• Fast learner with a resourceful and flexible disposition;
• Good written and oral communication skills across diverse cultures;
• Unintimidated by technology and comfortable using Google Drive, Excel, and online databases and resources (experience with WordPress a plus);
• Experience in communications and marketing is a plus. Motivated to promote private sector development and support refugee communities in Türkiye;

Reporting Lines: Reports to Business Development & Partnerships Senior Coordinator / Country Program Services Director
Location: Istanbul or Gaziantep, Türkiye. Travel to other cities as required
Duration: Fixed Term contract, until 15 May 2025
Travel: No obstacle to travel within Türkiye
