ROLE PURPOSE:

Based in Reyhanli along with direct supervision of Logistic Officer, driver is responsible for providing driving and chauffeur duties and maintenance of the office vehicles. Ensures vehicle is always kept in good running condition through addressing minor repairs. Perform vehicle checks on a regular basis (daily check of liquids, etc.) Report suspected mechanical problems.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drives office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items.
• He holds a driving license, category B.
• Refrain from carrying alcohol, contraband, weapons and fuel in the car.
• Ensures vehicle is always kept in good running condition through addressing minor repairs.
• Perform vehicle checks on a regular basis (daily check of liquids, etc.)
• Report suspected mechanical problems.
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc.
• Performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs.
• Ensures that the vehicle is kept clean (inside/outside).
• Keep the vehicle’s logbook up to date.
• (Re) fuel vehicles when needed.
• Provide logistic support for official events.
• Buy daily use items (upon request).
• Collect and deliver official documents and pick up/deposit equipment, purchases.
• Ensures that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken, in case of involvement in an accident.
• Maintain and respect Shafak’s driving regulations according to Shafak’s guide. 
• Perform other related duties as requested by the line manager.
• Respect traffic regulations according to the Land Transport and Traffic Regulations.
• Responsible for the collection, storage, transportation and delivery of all merchandise in his/her vehicle.
• Make sure every passenger is wearing a seat belt before starting to drive the vehicle.
• Avoid using mobile phones while driving Shafak cars at any time and place.
• The driver must be familiar with the child protection and sexual harassment policy.
• Ensure that the vehicle is only used for Shafak approved purposes.
• Do not transport any person not authorized by the logistics official in the vehicle movement mission.
• Carrying out any other duties at the request of the direct supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTE

• Experience working in protection at least 1 years.
• Good communication skills with good written and spoken Turkish, English, and Arabic.
• Turkish Citizenship.
• Valid driving license
• Safe driving record.
