Summary of the position: 

He/ person responsible for managing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies within the organization. This role requires expertise in designing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, computers, information security, and storage. The "IT Infrastructure Officer" works to ensure the stability and efficiency of the technological systems that support daily operations in the organization, while also focusing on fostering innovation and achieving optimal performance for the digital infrastructure. 

Administrative dependency : Works directly under the supervision of the CEO, and reports periodically to ensure activities are aligned with set objectives .

Job Location : 

Gaziantep, Turkey, with the possibility of travel within the organization's operational

Job duties and responsibilities : 

1- Managing and Maintaining IT Infrastructure:

• Ensuring the stability and efficiency of the IT infrastructure in the organization (networks, servers, storage systems).

• Implementing and maintaining modern and advanced IT solutions to meet the organization’s needs.

2- Network Design and Planning:

Designing and implementing network solutions to ensure the availability and stability of technological services in the organization.

• Verifying that networks align with user needs and business requirements.

3- Managing Servers and Virtual Systems:

• Responsible for managing both local and cloud servers.

• Monitoring performance and backup processes to ensure business continuity and data recovery.

4- Information Security:

• Implementing information security policies to ensure the protection of data and networks from security threats.

• Conducting penetration tests and regular system reviews to ensure data integrity.

5- Backup Systems and Data Recovery Management:

• Developing strategies for backup storage and defining procedures for data recovery in case of emergencies.

6- Monitoring and Analyzing System Performance:

• Continuously monitoring various systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Analyzing and addressing any issues or bottlenecks in the infrastructure and resolving them promptly.

7- Managing Technology Projects:

• Leading and executing IT projects related to infrastructure development or improvement.

• Coordinating relevant teams and ensuring the project is completed within the set timeline and budget.

8- Innovation and Continuous Development:

• Keeping up with the latest developments in the IT field and working on integrating modern innovations into the organization's infrastructure.

• Researching new technological solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.

9- Supporting Other Technical Teams:

• Providing technical support to internal teams and resolving infrastructure-related issues.

• Collaborating with development and operations teams to meet the technological needs of projects.

10-Preparing Reports and Documentation:

• Preparing regular reports on the status of infrastructure and security levels.

• Documenting systems, procedures, and policies followed in management to provide a reference for new employees or other technical teams.

 Qualifications and requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Networking, Programming or related field; International certifications in Network Administration preferred.

Experience: 3 years of practical experience in managing networks, servers and computers in non-governmental or international organizations.
